"I thank you for providing me with the opportunity to leave my comments about State Farm, my Agents Grant and Bruce. Ever since the devastating impact businesses faced when the entire country faced untold challenges, re marketing, and the unknown under COVID, I have made it a priority to promote great businesses and superb Team members such as Grant and Bruce when I find them. I am almost 80 years young and 'retired', so when faced with an increase of over 30% in premiums from my previous Company, while holding a spotless driving record for decades, shopping for a new Auto and Renter's Insurance policy was not my first rodeo. I knew exactly what I was looking for and what to ask. A reasonable price was not my only priority. I need trustworthiness, treating me as the valued customer that I am, professional service, understanding, and doing what they can to find solutions when issues arise. After 3 interviews with other top name companies, I chose State Farm, for all of the reasons above. An example: As a former business owner, while I do understand where subtle encouragement (sales pressure) is warranted, it is commendable how Grant flowed with me, assuming I am the informed consumer that I am. Nowadays trust and respect (both ways) in a relationship is an irreplaceable commodity. When he did not have an answer, he was professional enough to ask someone and to find the best solution for my needs. Even after checking other companies afterwards, I am confident that State Farm has all of these prerequisites. I am far from being a "high maintenance" person, but I have been through too much in life to wast my time and my money and I understand that I have my responsibility to be a safe driver and good customer too. "I was doing research on car insurance rates when I received a call from an agent named Grant. I normally do not answer solicitation calls but in this case I’m fortunate I did. The service provided by Grant was fantastic. We went thru the details on each car and he was able to share with me State Farm rates on an auto policy covering the five vehicles in my household. We also reviewed home owners rates as well. Initially the auto rate was a little higher than another company but I chose to switch my home owners as Grant was able to give me a much cheaper rate than what I had been paying even though I wasn’t bundling home with the automobiles at that time. There was zero pressure to push the auto policy and Grant was happy to assist me with the new home owners policy. I few weeks after the initial communication with Grant, I had the misfortune of having one of my vehicles die and its subsequent replacement created what I would only characterize as an obscene increase to an auto policy premium that was only a couple weeks old. My first instinct was to reach out to Grant at State Farm. The service he had previously provided was exemplary and I wanted to see if he could help again. We reviewed the details of the replacement vehicle… Grant had kept the data from our previous discussion on the remaining vehicles and he was able to provide a quote in minutes. The new auto policy premium amount that Grant quoted was lower than what I was paying just a month into my previous policy and he was able to adjust the existing home owners policy as well now that I was bundling both my home and the cars. My experience with Grant has been fantastic. I’ve had to call a few times with questions and have received amazing personal service each time. State Farm is a large company but the personalized service I’m getting from Grant makes me feel like it’s a small town business.
